TWIST 60

Twist 60 represents the unique arranged winding of the membrane fibers: the fibers build up in layers around the center tube of the membrane element, each layer crosses the one before.

The purge air is distributed effectively in the whole membrane element, thus using maximum available contact surface. The result is a highly efficient drying process.

The winding significantly reduces space requirements.

Do you use compressed air?

Should you do so, humidity in the line network and at the consumer end  will represent a quality problem for you. Therefore, drying of the compressed air is always one of the most important tasks. This may be realized in an amazingly easy manner by using the compact, service-free DRYPOINT® M membrane dryer.

Drying tailored to size:

DRYPOINT® M membrane  modules are a real alternative  to conventional compressed air dryers, especially as far as drying at the terminal station is concerned. Particularly in the low range of performance and in cases where drying orientates itself on the ambient conditions,  DRYPOINT® M offers  many advantages in contrast to methods which function using fixed pressure dew points. Through the application of DRYPOINT® M membrane dryers,  the user gets his compressed air as dry as is required for his individual application purposes.

The range of products now comprises 13 sizes, each with up to 3 different types. In addition, custom-made  types are available for special purposes.

With regard to higher output ranges, a special head with flange has been developed for the parallel connection of membrane dryers, allowing easy and space-saving installation.

DRYPOINT® M - in particular for the lower range of performance
DRYPOINT® M - where drying must orientate itself on the ambient conditions.

Besides filtration, compressed air drying contributes considerably to an increase in the process reliability. Humidity in compressed air systems causes corrosion and promotes the growth of micro-organisms. In individual cases, condensate may emerge at the point of withdrawal.

The industrial process is consistently at risk, e.g. due to failing pneumatic controls, severe wear and tear or other disturbances in the production process.

Why Drypoint?

Drying - tailored to size

It is particularly cost-effective  to dry precisely the quantity of compressed air which the customer requires. And this is only really effective when this compressed air quantity is dried to the necessary extent, meaning that drying orientates itself on the application .

Generally, the highest reliability and immediate availability of the dried compressed air are required.

This applies to laboratory purposes as well as to applications in workshops as well as to those which are outdoors, mobile or stationary.

The requirement: application-specific dryness.
The solution: DRYPOINT® M by BEKO.

The Drypoint Process

Easy and effective

1  Compressed air flows through the core tube, and is then diverted to the membrane element in the ground area.  The compressed air which is still humid, runs through the highly selevtive hollow fiber membranes of the membrane element inside.

2  Purge air, required for drying, diverges continuously at the outlet area of the membrane element and is decompressed atmospherically using a defined nozzle orifice. Due to decompression,  this purge air is considerably dryer, as  humidity contained in the compressed air now fills the multiple of the volume. The dry purge air passes the exterior of the membrane fibers.

3  As a result, two air flows with a different moisture content move in reverse flow through the membrane element, separated only by the membrane wall. Inside the membranes, humid compressed air flows and dry purge air passes outside. On account of the varying moisture content, moisture from the compressed air diffuses into the purge air. As regards the drying procedure, use of the TWIST 60 technology results in maximum efficiency.

4  Compressed air is dried when leaving the membrane element.

5  Humid purge air is released into the environment.

DRYPOINT® M PLUS - an innovative all-in-one solution

+1: All-in-one. Filtration and drying in a single unit.
+2: Perfect set-up: filtration immediately before the membrane
+3: TWIST 60 technology for peak efficiency
+4: Simple filter element replacement, low maintenance.
+5: Built-in: Integral surge diverter

Drypoint M Plus membrane air dryers

Thanks to the integration of the compressed air filter and the membrane dryer in a single unit, DRYPOINT® M PLUS offers exceptional reliability for every application. By taking advantage of the physical properties, the integrated construction is ideal in terms of airflow and filtration, because highly efficient filtration takes place immediately before the membrane.

DRYPOINT® M PLUS compressed air membrane dryers are compact and effective, using the latest Twist 60 technology from BEKO.
