By applying the same technological expertise developed for air and gas compressors, they have created a line of synthetic gear, turbine, hydraulic and refrigeration oils which provide enhanced industrial use performance.
Summit manufactures a product line of descalers for water wetted equipment such as heat exchangers, water cooled air compressors, vacuum pumps and boilers. They offer three descaling products, each designed for specific applications where chemical compatibility is essential.
Summit also offers a line of degreasers that will handle any difficult maintenance challenge ranging from tough heavy duty to light general purpose applications.

Summit SH® Series lubricants are manufactured from the highest quality synthetic hydrocarbon base-stocks and advanced additive technology. SH® Series lubricants are recommended for rotary screw, centrifugal, and reciprocating compressors and offer many advantages over petroleum-based lubricants as well as some synthetics - especially where compatibility is an important concern. The SH® Series lubricants have low pour points, high viscosity indexes and excellent water demulsibility.
Summit SH® Series lubricants are compatible with commonly used seal materials and equipment designed for use with petroleum oils.

Summit DSL® synthetic lubricants are unique combinations of quality diester base-stocks and the latest additive technology. Summit provides a wide range of DSL® lubricants that cover applications for rotary vane, rotary screw, and all ages and design-types of reciprocating compressors. Summit DSL® lubricants are especially noted for the following benefits:

Summit FG Series lubricants are specially designed for rotary screw, vane and reciprocating compressors being used in the food service industry. These lubricants are approved by the USDA for H-1 application (lubricants with incidental food contact) and comply fully with the requirements of FDA 21CFR 178.3570.
The FG Series lubricants are formulated from the highest quality synthesized hydrocarbon fluids available. The special additive system is blended with the synthetic base-fluid to provide extended lubricant life and to protect against wear, rust and corrosion. FG Series lubricants are extended life lubricants and have the same software compatibility as Summit SH® Series lubricants.
FG-100 is designed for use in rotary screw compressors and applications requiring an ISO-32 lubricant. FG-200 is designed for use in rotary screw compressors and other applications requiring an ISO-68 lubricant. FG-300 and FG-400 are designed for use in reciprocating compressors, rotary vane compressors and other applications requiring an ISO-100 lubricant.

Summit Supra-32 and Supra Coolant® have been formulated to address the specific problems associated with conventional rotary screw compressor coolants: thermal degradation and deposit formation. The polyglycol/ester blend provide superior performance in the areas of oxidation resistance and deposit formation.
Supra 32 and Supra Coolant® eliminate the varnish, sludge and frequent lubricant changes associated with hydrocarbon oils.
Summit PS Series synthetic lubricants are a blend of synthetic and petroleum base fluids specially designed for compressor applications as well as multi-purpose applications. The PS Series is manufactured using the highest quality base stocks, additive treated with rust and corrosion inhibitors, oxidation control agents, anti-wear compounds and defoamants and is exceptional at controlling sludge and deposits.
Summit PS is recommended for use in the following applications:
- Rotary screw and vane compressors
- Ball and roller bearings
- Low temperature lubrication
- High temperature lubrication
- Mist lubrication systems

Summit Varnasolv
The use of petroleum lubricants, primarily automatic transmission fluid (ATF), in rotary screw and rotary vane compressors results in the formation of varnish and carbon. The varnish and carbon is deposited throughout the system and can cause a number of serious operational problems, resulting in excessively high maintenance costs.
Summit's Varnasolv can help alleviate the problems caused by varnish and carbon. Varnasolv is designed to be used as an additive in the lubricant to remove and suspend varnish while the compressor is in operation. Using Varnasolv eliminates the need for disassembling the compressor for cleaning. For maximum benefit, use Varnasolv prior to each lubricant change.

SUBLIME® is a water-based solvent containing wetting agents, corrosion inhibitors and degreasing compounds. It is designed to penetrate and remove encrusted lime scale, rust, and corrosion products and dirt from water-wetted surfaces in process equipment, commercial and industrial applications.
SUBLIME® has a pleasant citrus-lime fragrance that masks the obnoxious odors normally associated with dissolving water scale and corrosion. It is low-foaming and quickly releases the carbon dioxide (CO2 ) gas generated by the reaction of lime scale with SUBLIME®.
SUBLIME® comes in a pale yellow color that changes to a deep bluish-purple when it is spent. The advantages to this color change are:
- You know when the solution is spent and should be discarded
- Don’t spend time circulating a spent solution,
- The color change occurs at a pH of 5.8 to 6.0 which is well within the safe disposal range of most of the current governmental waste regulations and
- If the equipment is clean and SUBLIME® has not changed color, you can save it and use it again.
SUBLIME® is most effectively used by circulating through the equipment to be cleaned. When possible, circulation should be up-flow. SUBLIME® can also be used by filling the equipment to be cleaned and allowing it to set until scale has disappeared. The cleaning operation normally takes two to six hours.
SUBLIME® is non-toxic, non corrosive, non-flammable and non-hazardous when used as directed.

The problems caused by water related scale, rust, and corrosion affect every industry from nuclear power plants to automobile engines. It has been shown that 1/16 of an inch of scale is equivalent to approximately 3 inches of steel in heat transferability.

SUR-CLEAN is a water based industrial strength degreaser and cleaner that is safe for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
